Political Cartoon! Today in class we talked about political cartoons. Political cartoons are generally created to exaggerate a truth and make fun of it. For class we drew a political cartoon that exaggerated colonists taxes before the revolutionary war. Students chose one tax (more if they wanted) and then drew a picture that made the tax humorous. The assignment consists of:
1. a border
2. colored drawing
3. no more than 30 words (in neat lettering)
4. five symbols (something in the picture that represents something else)
5. CAPSI written on the back for [for I (inference) the student should list the five symbols and what they mean]
