The class then did a tax simulation to help students understand how upset the colonist got. We then wrote a letter to the governor, complaining about the taxes.
The letter included a paragraph about who you are (describing your Declaration signers home state and occupation). The second paragraph was a list of at least three complaints and the third paragraph was a description of how you are protesting the taxes. It is signed by your fake name and your real name.
